About TAXA

TAXA was established in 1909. TAXA is the oldest and largest taxi company in Denmark and is known for its good customer service and swift performance. With more than 800 taxies we are always close to you, when you are in need of a taxi.

Our taxies are in average 1½ years old, and with the constant replacement of vehicles we focus on modern and environment-friendly fuel technology. 

Besides sedans and station cars TAXA offers transportation with approx. 40 minibusses - some of which are specially equipped for handicap transportation.

Our taxies are owned by independent taxicab owners, employing their own drivers.

TAXA is a dispatch centre, owned by more than 500  taxicab owners, all members of the association "Sammenslutningen Københavns Taxa".

In TAXA we focus on the customers and use a dispatch system that minimizes the waiting time. Our dispatch system quickly finds the nearest, free taxi and directs the taxi to you.

This is one of the reasons that more than 3000 businesses in the region of Copenhagen have chosen TAXA as their taxi supplier.
